Realistic sims 2 default skins

One of the main reasons I don't like watching Let's plays with MM body replacements (Alpha is just a hard no, I won't follow anyone using that) is because many of them are very forgiving, or specifically shaded to be forgiving. This is actually something I hadn't thought about but I realize it now. I prefer the Sims 4 style over the hyper realism of some cc, but I really enjoy subtle cc when I can be bothered to download it. Obviously I don't think everyone who uses them does so in this way, it's jus the stark difference between with and without that causes me to not want to use them. And there was one who took them off her adult aged Sims and yiiiikes. I think that's my biggest problem, if that makes sense? Like I've seen some sim youtubers use them in CAS and it sort of.glosses over any problems they couldn't fix. But I also don't like the inverse affects of using them. It's too much work for me to try and keep things up to date.
